Natural α-bisabolol, gentle and effective, it has long been used in cosmetics for its anti-irritation, anti-inflammatory, wound healing and soothing benefits. It is an excellent addition for protection of the skin against daily environmental stress.

I made an ointment with marigold in which I added bisabolol. The skin healed faster and better than with the ointment, plain. I now include it in my lip balm.

I used it in the preparation of a hand cream along with other active ingredients and oils, the recipe being inspired by one on the Elemental website. It is a soothing cream, redness and irritation are greatly diminished, the skin is regenerated.
